Toku Whakapapa

This term my class has been learning about their whakapapa. I don't know how to say it off by heart but that is one of my future goals.

Art!

 In class for our art subject, Whaea Lana showed us an amazing artist who simply uses a pen to create her art. Her name is Hannah Shand. We all practiced some techniques which she uses such as, cross-hatching, flowing lines, hatch lines, among many more. After practicing for a while we did some of these techniques on a page of our own pepeha, it was free-range and we could do whatever techniques we liked. I was a bit stuck at first since I had been away but I managed to get it done. I enjoyed working on my pepeha art.
