Yearly Reflection

2020 has been a very bumpy ride, especially in schooling and learning. Lockdown work was hard, the teacher set tasks way above our level, and way too little. I barely did any work and as fun as that sounds I did not enjoy it. I felt it was hard for me to get the flow of my learning back. Especially when jumping right into things I've never heard about before. I got the hang of it and learned some really wonderful things that I think can benefit me in my future life.

Having a set in stone teacher was really helpful, it was a bit of a mess at the start of the year.

I took my time understanding how to, add, subtract, and divide fractions. I'm proud of myself for fully learning how to do it. I focused on one thing for a while. I dedicated my time to it, that's why it stuck. I've also learned how to write different text types such as persuasive, a moment in time, and much more.

I have also enjoyed the physical aspects of the year. The whole class joined in on volleyball lessons, we now play it every lunchtime. I feel good that I participated in physical activities, it was awesomely fun learning a new sport.

I've made many new friendships, lost some but overall everything was worth it.

One girl really impacted my life, we made many memories. Fun and sad, she's been here only half of the year. It was nice to have an understanding person around when I needed her.

Overall this year has been quite a mess but the memories that were made are priceless and I'm very thankful for the people that made it fun and to the ones I've gained and lost. I wish you all the best.
