Eating Bad Is Lame

In class, we have been learning about eating healthier. I had the job to write my own argument going against eating whatever you want and whatever you want.

Eating unhealthy as a child can lead to major health problems as an adult such as obesity, tooth cavities, diabetes, and heart problems.

To put it violently, if you do not watch what you eat and how much you do eat with the wrong foods and no exercise you are setting yourself up for early death. I think eating unhealthy is stupid. It isn't hard to eat healthily and still enjoy what you eat.

When you have no portion control it quickly leads to obesity and diabetes. Do you really want to live a terrible life? Always be on edge? Be bullied for your weight? Be unable to love yourself? If you said no to almost half or even all of these questions, you need self-control over your eating habits for the future or now.

Diabetes is one of the main causes of overeating sugary treats with no self-control. Type 2 diabetes is terrible, for multiple reasons; High glucose levels damage nerve and blood vessels, leading to heart disease, stroke, blindness, kidney disease, and gum infections. Advanced type 2 diabetes can result in blindness and you will have to amputate limbs that no longer get proper circulation. You decide if this is the lifestyle you want to have?

Binge eating when you feel lonely? Go for a run, call your friend or talk to somebody you trust. Binge eating has consequences just like any other sin. It is better to start eating healthy now and managing your weight before you struggle to get into a car, showering, fitting through a door in your late 20’s. It is not hard to make big changes in your diet.

For example; fight the urge of overeating by occupying yourself with a favorite task. For some, it could be art, reading, or exercise.

Find physical activities you enjoy. Think of it as downtime, play, not as a job or something you don't look forward to. Get your exercise by jogging to the dairy or walking your dogs.

Healthy food doesn't always have to be yuck, when you balance out meals with the right spices and ingredients it tastes like nothing has changed. Making healthy changes is simpler than it sounds, all you have to do is add more of one vegetable, add less oil and there you have a simple healthier recipe.

You do not have to give up what you love to eat, it's all about controlling how much and what you eat. Now, these are just starters to having a new happy, and healthy life. You may think these are tiny facts but they can make life-altering changes in your diet and weight.
